TERMS & CONDITIONS

Bayside Clean Exterior Cleaning Services

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Bayside Clean's exterior cleaning services. By hiring us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Scope of Services

We provide exterior cleaning services as agreed upon in writing or through electronic communication. Our services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Pressure Washing

  • Soft Washing 

  • Window Cleaning

  • Gutter Cleaning

  • Roof Washing

  • Exterior Surface Cleaning

  • Driveway Cleaning

  • Deck Cleaning

  • Paver Stone Cleaning, Poly Sanding & Weather Sealer

Service Specific Acknowledgments

House Washing:

 

House washing does not remove oxidation or rust staining from vinyl or aluminum siding. Soft Washing is designed to remove algae, mildew, mold, moss, dirt, dust, spider webs, and pollen. Oxidation or rust removal requires specialty chemicals, and results may vary based on the severity and age of the oxidation.

Window Cleaning:​

Screen cleaning is available at an additional cost.

For windows with significant hard water staining, additional costs may apply. Results for hard water staining may vary depending on the severity of the staining and the condition of the glass.

Our window cleaning services include cleaning of glass, frames, and sills only. (We do not offer track cleaning)

 

Deck Cleaning:

Customers are required to remove all items from the deck prior to our arrival to ensure an efficient and safe cleaning process. Failure to remove items before the scheduled service time will result in an additional charge of $125.00

Larger items such as a BBQ or patio table may remain on the deck, as these items can typically be slid or wheeled out of the way during the cleaning process.

Smaller items including, but not limited to, planters, chairs, rugs, cushions, decorative items, toys, and personal belongings must be removed before service begins.

If deck contents have not been removed prior to our arrival, Bayside Clean may move the items at an additional charge. The quoted service price covers the cleaning itself and does not include the labour associated with moving furniture, planters, rugs, decorative items, or other belongings. Any labour required to prepare the work area will be billed separately.

 

Roof Washing​:

Roof washing requires proper weather conditions to safely and effectively apply the treatment. Temperatures must be above 18°C with little to no wind and no rain in the forecast. Once applied, the professional detergent requires a dwelling period to fully kill moss and stop future organic growth. As the moss dies, it will begin turning yellow, dry out under the sun, and gradually disappear over time with heavy rain.

When washing cedar shake roofs, the detergent will also brighten the wood, changing the dull greyish tone to a lighter, more natural appearance. Please note the detergent is applied at a strong dilution and runoff from the eaves has the potential to damage or kill grass and vegetation below the downspouts.

Gutter Cleaning​:

Gutters are flushed with water to ensure they are fully cleaned, and downspouts are tested to confirm proper water flow. Please note that WE DO NOT REMOVE GUTTER GUARDS or unclog drainage issues below ground level.

Dark Siding, Eaves or Soffit​

While dark siding, soffit, and eaves are thoroughly cleaned during the washing process, water spotting may remain visible after rinsing due to naturally occurring minerals in the water supply. This is completely unavoidable and is most noticeable on black or darker coloured surfaces.

 

Paver Stone Cleaning, Sanding & Sealing:

This service is strictly limited to the cleaning, sanding, and sealing of existing paver stones. By proceeding with this service, the client acknowledges and agrees that we do not remove, replace, re-level, or repair interlock that is damaged, sunken, shifted, or at the end of its service life. Any such issues fall outside the scope of this service.

 

Our process is completed in 3 Stages: 

Preparation & Cleaning, Existing joint material, including sand, moss, weeds, and debris, is removed using high-pressure equipment, including a turbo nozzle. A professional-grade treatment is then applied to eliminate organic growth, followed by a thorough pressure washing of all surfaces.

 

Drying & Sanding: After cleaning, the paver stones must undergo an adequate drying period. Once dry, new polymeric sand is installed into the joints and compacted to ensure proper stabilization and optimal performance.

 

Sealing: Upon completion of sanding, a professional-grade weather sealant is applied. This helps protect the surface from the elements, enhances appearance, and extends the lifespan of the paver system.

While every effort is made to achieve the best possible results, the client understands that outcomes may vary depending on the age, condition, and previous maintenance of the pavers.

 
Customer Responsibilities:


To ensure efficient and safe service, customers are responsible for:

Preparing the Property: Removing any obstacles or items that may interfere with the cleaning process, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Providing Water: Unless special arrangements have been made for Bayside Clean to supply water, the customer must ensure water is accessible for the cleaning process.

Safety Precautions: At all times, keep pets and children away from the work area during cleaning.

 
Payment Terms:


A 50% deposit is required to proceed with scheduling your cleaning. This deposit ensures the customer’s commitment and prevents last-minute cancellations.

Payment in full is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing or via electronic communication.

We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and e-transfers.

 
Cancellations and Rescheduling:


Customers must provide at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests. Failure to provide sufficient notice results in the forfeiture of any deposits paid.

Bayside Clean reserves the right to reschedule services due to inclement weather, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Example: High Winds, Heavy Rain, Lightening, or Mechanical related issues.

Please note that any last-minute rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled service date will be subject to a $100 rescheduling fee.

 
Liability:


Bayside Clean is not liable for damages that may occur during the cleaning process, including but not limited to damage to landscaping or personal items.

The customer assumes all risks associated with the cleaning services.

Property Care:

Bayside Clean takes every reasonable precaution to protect your property during the cleaning process. However, customers are responsible for ensuring all windows, doors, and exterior fixtures are properly secured prior to service. Bayside Clean is not responsible for issues related to pre-existing damage, loose materials, improper installation, or normal wear and deterioration uncovered during cleaning.

 
Warranty:


Bayside Clean warrants that services will be performed professionally and in accordance with industry standards.

We do not guarantee specific results or outcomes from our cleaning services unless otherwise agreed upon.

 
Entire Agreement:


These terms and conditions represent the entire agreement between Bayside Clean and the customer regarding exterior cleaning services, superseding all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.

 
Acknowledgment:


By using our exterior cleaning services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
