I believe hard work isn’t something you learn — it’s something you live.

Born and raised in Ontario, hard work was never foreign to me. Some of my earliest memories are from when I was about eight years old, riding alongside my father in his backhoe. I helped him build logging roads and excavate septic systems for families in our local community. Those long days taught me more than just how to operate equipment — they taught me discipline, responsibility, pride in craftsmanship, and the value of showing up no matter what.

As I grew into a young man, that work ethic followed me west into Canada’s Oil & Gas industry. For nearly 14 years, I worked in the field as a Heavy Equipment Operator before transitioning into Health & Safety. The work was demanding, the conditions were tough, and the expectations were high — and I thrived in it. I was satisfied… but I wasn’t fulfilled.

Then one day, I came across an online advertisement for pressure washing.

It sounds simple, but in that moment, a light bulb went off. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. For months, I researched, planned, and obsessed over the idea. Eventually, I purchased a small pressure washer and some basic window cleaning supplies — and just like that, the journey began.

At first, it was a side hustle. Early mornings. Late nights. Weekends. Knock on doors. Do the work. Earn trust. Repeat.

​

After the first season exceeded my expectations, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life: I left my career in Oil & Gas and committed fully to building Bayside Clean.

What started small has grown year after year. We consistently add over 100 new customers each season. Heading into our 6th year of business, we’re proud to have:
